So, out of despair, MS Store is a dumpster fire, unintentionally deleted my MSFS folder, can’t fly, no resolution is sight, Microsoft Tech support is a no show, no chat, no phone number, yada, yada, yada… I’ve decided to just order the wings and tail section for my computer upgrade and I’ll just fly that. Expect delivery in two weeks.
If you haven’t done much with your system since the directory deletion, you can frequently “undelete” things. If there has been any writing on the drive with MSFS, odds go down on a clean recovery. If it was on your C drive, might be too late.

Thanks, I think I’m resolved to just ‘Don’t small the sweat things’. I’ve spent so many hours trying to keep this thing running, chasing well intentioned solutions, that I’m temporarily fed up. Pretty sure if this was a recently purchased copy of Word, Powerpoint or Excel, Microsoft wouldn’t be too far behind in fixing the issues. I’ve had enough for awhile, waiting to see if so-called Tech support ever calls back, the automated ‘support’ is useless.
