I grew up flying steam gauges so I’m a bit partial to them sometimes, but lets be honest. When I learned glass displays for the first time it was more of a change is difficult thing than it was these are not as nice.
Glass cockpits (box office if you are female… we don’t discriminate here) are far superior.
I like both, as long as it is period correct to the aircraft. I enjoy the Black Square products.
If you are learning to fly today in a modern 172… it should be the Garmins.
I had to learn to navigate using NDB’s 35 years ago. I’m guessing that is completely removed from GS now.
