Iām not a developer, but it seems like what youāre asking requires significant programming resources. Itās not like doing a paint job.
There are plenty of Steam Gauge aircraft out there to choose from. The Bonanza G36 with its glass cockpit is my go-to GA aircraft, and Iām looking at purchasing the Bellanca Super Viking myself. As someone else stated, I could buy the BlackSquare Analog Bonanza G36.
It seems that what you want is essentially payware development for free.
Iāve already bought every airplane with analog instrumentation.
Then I donāt understand your request. Oh well.
I prefer the analog T arrangement. Thatās what I learned on. For small aircraft, it would be nice to have one simple checkbox to set that, rather than sifting through 50 settings.
I hope Blacksquare Amalog B350 King Air and C208 will be available soon on FS24
I grew up flying steam gauges so Iām a bit partial to them sometimes, but lets be honest. When I learned glass displays for the first time it was more of a change is difficult thing than it was these are not as nice.
Glass cockpits (box office if you are femaleā¦ we donāt discriminate here) are far superior.
I like both, as long as it is period correct to the aircraft. I enjoy the Black Square products.
If you are learning to fly today in a modern 172ā¦ it should be the Garmins.
I had to learn to navigate using NDBās 35 years ago. Iām guessing that is completely removed from GS now.
One solution, a Modern Digital and Retrofit Analog on all Aircraft in MSFS. Win win for all in STEM.
There is no steam gauge version of the G36 for example. While similar in external appearance what youāre looking for is an A36 which Black Square will be doing at some point. It wonāt just be a cockpit overhaul which Black Square did for MSFS 2020.
+1 for this thread. The old school VOR navigation has a charm of itās own. Navigating VORs feels futile in a modern avionics aircraft.
I would love an analog C172 or Bonanza !
Irl the cessna Iāve flown for training has a 6 pack with an ipad taped on because itās the cheapest, honestly wouldnāt mind a gauge option like that lol
It works just fine flying VORās with glass. Less satisfying you could say perhaps but not futile.
There are already options for these.
C172 is in premium deluxe
Analog Bonanza is from Blacksquare
What ? For MSFS2024 ?
The C172 certainly but it might be some time before we see the Blacksquare Bonanza in 2024. In the mean time there is the V35 option and I believe thereās also a Debonair too. Not sure on the laters current compatibility with 2024 but the V35 is Marketplace so should be there once it goes live.
I just wish we had ATR 72-500. The analog gauges are just so much more stylish and (at least for me) easier to read. Or at least a working Saab 340ā¦
