A very much needed airport! Even though I own FSDT’s version I find myself avoiding it recently. I hope it won’t take too long as is unfortunately the case with Pacsim…

Glad to see CLT is getting done again. FSDT is falling behind. One thing I’ve found with PacSim sceneries is their terminals, especially with night lighting has a huge performance impact on the sim. RDU and SLC both seem to have this issue. I also hate how PacSim only sells on their website… wish they’d go with something like the inibuilds manager, contrail or something.
Still - I like their sceneries for the most part and looking forward to this.

I haven’t purchased any of their sceneries because they only sale in their store. I already have too many stores to manage credentials and product updates. They should at least get their airports listed in the Marketplace. They are losing out on XBox and PS5 sales too!

Actually, that’s my biggest gripe with them.
Yeah, but you have to make sure not to delete your email. Many people couldn’t locate theirs when the 2024 update for SLC launched. Unsure if most of them were able to get it eventually, but either way, just an unnecessary inconvenience for an antiquated ordering system.
Well, that’s why I keep notes with my product keys separated from emails. But you’re right, I would be much happier if they were selling on Contrail or any other major store.

Great to hear Pacsim bringing us a up to date KCLT!
I’d love a newer KORD but with all work going on there IRL, would be a gamble for any dev.
Important airport that I’m very glad to see is coming! Mixed opinions on PACSIM but certainly will be an upgrade over the aging FSDT release.
Now we just need a KMCO (supposedly coming) and CDG and I’ll be complete.
Both of those have been confirmed by VerticalSim and Jo Erlend, respectively. Not worried. I’m waiting on ORD and IAH. And if DD can update their EWR to 2026 standards.
FSDT’s IAH is actually pretty good to me. ORD needs some work for sure.

Not to mention… when redownloading a product say if you reformatted your PC
You have to send a email for a product key and a download link.
They have been pretty quick to respond but I know a day will come just around the corner when something like a website outtage/data wipe happens, something that for a small company like pacsim, could become a potentially ending thing and they can’t give you a one time product key.
