Has anyone noticed there are barely audible sounds now? I can’t even hear ANYTHING other than ATC on my laptop. Granted, laptop speakers aren’t the loudest, but I can hear at least some good sounds in other aircraft. Not sure what happened with this latest update from two days ago. It also annoys me that dome light does not illuminate the overhead panel AT ALL… there is basically just the backlighting for signs, but the panel itself is otherwise pitch black at night. They really gotta fix that.
Strange, I’m not sure. I think they decreased the cockpit hydraulics sound somewhat, felt to be overly loud, but for me using headphones, the sounds IMHO are terrific. As usual, with any support issues, I would post over at their Discord…
Some of the recent comments about this aircraft made me want to look into purchasing this (even if it is “early access”). I’ve really wanted a more modern regional jet - already have the CRJ, 146, and F28. What sealed the deal for me was reviewing their change history and seeing somewhat sizable change logs on a > monthly basis. They really seem to be putting in a lot of effort.
I wanted to share some of my first impressions in case anyone else is on the fence or just curious.
I just finished taking the 175 out for a quick circuit and then a short IFR flight from Osnabrück to Berlin. Besides a couple of pilot error moments, the flights went completely fine. Lack of VNAV didn’t bother me since I’m used to flying the 146 and F28, but it will be nice when they have it implemented (I do get spoiled by the A320 and 737 sometimes).
It’s really a lot more complete than I was expecting, and while some areas are a little rough around the edges, I’ll probably continue flying this as often as I do the other regionals in my hangar. The EFB took a couple minutes to figure out, but it ended up being more feature complete than I was expecting. It has real time + instant fueling and boarding options (à la A32NX or PMDG) based on SimBrief plans, and also has basic performance calculations for V speeds that factor in runway, weather, surface conditions.
All in all, considering it’s about half the price of the other regionals in my hangar, I’m satisfied with what I have and look forward to the future updates. While I was skeptical about anything being sold while still a work in progress, this seems promising so far.
It really is a great peice of work so far.
Check out the wings from a passenger window while in turbulence btw.
It’s definitely coming along nicely and assuming the custom FMC and VNAV occur it will be even better.
TBH the FMC has been my biggest issue…lots of default FMC issues I forgot existed
All in all though much to be positive about as it continues to develop.
Part of the reason I’ve been waiting for the “early access” period to be finished is I keep hoping MSFS’s ATC will get better so I can do more IFR flights without getting steered into mountains.
Here’s hoping for 2024, friends!
tbh, if you load a simbrief .PLN file into the world map, it’s fairly useable (even if you end up manually programming your FMS/MCDU). Even gets TOD correct most of the time with a simbrief plan loaded.
I really like this plane despite its early access.
However, I had a problem on my last flight: the PA was frozen. I could no longer disengage it (the LED above it was on all the time). In addition, I could no longer change the altitude (for example, the fetch button was inoperable), nor the speed.
Sound familiar?
Another question: in the cabin, the outside views in flight are blurred. Do you know why?
Thanks
I found the bug. It’s link to the Chono. If you click on the reste button, the Autopilot becomes inoperable.

Hello. I have been thinking to purchase this aircraft but Im a little bit afraid that is going to be heavy on FPS so I have a question…
If we compare the latest version of the FBW A320 and the latest version of the FSS Embraer, which one has a better performance? I mean, which one runs more smoothly?
From memory (I’m not sitting in front of the sim now) but I recall them being largely equivalent at the moment.
Hi all! Today FlightSim Studio releases the latest early access version 0.9.19!
You can check the announcement here:

For other information regarding Development Roadmap and Release Notes you can find it here:

We also added an exciting feature: The transfer of the performance values from the EFB manifest page into the MCDU
Love it!
Other people experiencing issues with ils approaches? I followed the youtube tutorials but for some reason it just works like 3 out of the 10 times. At the flytampa eham it just never works, at other airports it sometimes works. I used the prev mode and v/l mode, no real difference. It is really inconsistent.
For the rest loving the plane, did about 20 flights in the last 2 weeks with the 175 and it is updated frequently which is good!
Is anyone else finding the cockpit cameras jittery now?
on EFB disable gforce fx, slide it to zero
Hello everyone,
sometimes i try to edit waypoints in the STAR, e.g. NORK2A with ARTIP to ILS27 / EHAM.
The Embraer does include a Waypoint SPL and some other points which will wiggle me everywhere but not on the glidepath to RWY27.
I can’t direct to TIDVO or AM639, the waypoints which would align me to RWY27. It always says “INVALID ACTION (ARRIVAL)”. EHAM is just an example. Having this “problem” (i’m pretty sure the problem is in front of the yoke ) on every STAR.
Ok, i can’t delete or direct in the STAR. What am i missing? In the airbus i disable the NAV edit the STAR waypoints and enable NAV again. Is there a way to do something similiar in the Embraer too?
Thank you in advance
The problem is that they still don’t have their own custom LNAV and they use the built one from Asobo which is very limited and it can’t delete particular waypoints included in SID/STAR. I’m pretty sure you can do it in Embraer IRL. We must wait and hope…
Yep that’s the latest I’ve heard on discord. Once their custom LNAV is complete, all of that will be functional. For now it’s limited by the Asobo nav system. The STAR is treated as a self contained route (best way I can think to describe it) and waypoints in it can’t be modified.
A workaround they recommend for full control over arrivals is to manually enter the waypoints for your STAR - this does work, although is a lot more work for the more complex STARs.
Thank you for the quick reply. Makes sense then. I really like this bird already much although approaching is sometimes because of the messy waypoints a bit of a hassle.
