Hi Hobanagerik! Glad to see you!!!
It is difficult to answer your question without testing.
If you are using potentiometers then I think we are good. The JF Arrow has a pot that controls the ceiling light. I canât remember if it goes from 0-10, or 0-100, but I have a switch that when flipped first enables that circuit that fully rotates the pot.
Will this be targeted to be performant on systems that are less than âhigh-endâ?
I hope so, otherwise I had better start saving up for upgrades
Hi GoFasterS4!
All video we made on a i7-6800K, 1080Ti, 64 RAM. To keep good FPS instead of dozens small details with thousands polygons we use normal maps whenever it possible. For instance, all screws and rivets not a 3D objects. This is normal map.
Youâll probably get some flak for that, but not from me. I love the attention to detail here, but Iâm not a rivet counter. ![]()
Only with rivets Porter looks robust! ![]()
I will definitely be waiting to buy your PC-6! You have set an amazing example of transparency, communication, and attention to detail and I will be very interested to see what other projects you tackle after this.
Thank you very much bwc1976! For us PC-6 project more education than development. Every day we are learning a lot and it is very interesting. We prefer to make utility turboprop aircraft. But everything totally depend on aircraft data and drawings. Without good data impossible to make high quality airplane.
The list of interesting ones: SkyCourrier (bof), Kodiak (bof), Basler DC3 (bof) , Turbo Beaver, Turbo Otter, Twin Otter (oh yes !) and surely the most interesting the Canadair CL 415 (I cant use the name of Viking, for me itâll always be a Canadair).

But if by inadvertance you come back to pistons for a while, may I respectfully suggest you the BĂŒcker BĂŒ131 or the Stampe SV4, and the Dornier DO27.
Was I a⊠licker enough to have a chance you take this in count ?

Only available aircraft data limit us from development. ![]()

THIS!
After the Turbine Beaver
What a beast!

Oh yes. That would be sooooo awesome! The best mix of old and new in my opinion. Loved the freeware Basler for FSX/P3D
For PC-6 we have more than 100GB data with the hundreds High Res images and video to make detail 3D modeling and animation. Unfortunately without this data we are not able to make model.
Manfredâs Basler was my introduction to his work - and much as I love his C-47 with Janâs VC, it may have been my favorite.
A test for REAL short take off in Pilatus courtyard at Stans.

Great progress as always. I have a question about the sound. Are you guys using the soundest for PT6 from Cessna Caravan or custom sound recorded from a real porter? Whatâs is the current one and what is the plan for the release?
