The ‘free’ PC6 has got me very interested in this bird and brought me here. Great promotion.
After many hours of reading this thread I am really looking forward to getting this plane day 1 when it gets released.
This development has a background story like no other and I feel that this plane will set a new benchmark in many areas for the quality we expect for our $$.

looking good , one question though , is it planned to some final texture work to make it look more life like in the cockpit and less computer generated ? at the moment its too sterile , keep up the good work!
Sure, some mandatory textures, scratches, etc will be added as usual for the modern 3dPBR texturing technique. But we are making cockpit from 2019 and not from 1959! Don’t expect rusted metal!!! ![]()

i was not talking about a rusted look , just some textures are too flat looking which makes it look generated and less realistic .
Not “some textures”. Currently ALL textures “clean” and they make base for the further texturing. This is what you see now. We constantly adding 3D mesh and at this phase on the any new detail we put base texture. Base texture must have proper roughness, normal map and color. When all 3d mesh will be added we will make final assembly for final UW process and 3DPBR texturing with all layers.

hey there. not sure if this question has been answered somewhere in the thread already, but I’m wanting to know what will set this pc-6 apart from others already on the market? will there be any unique features or special hallmarks to really have it stand out?

No, our PC-6 doesn’t have something “special”. This is just a regular PC-6 B2/H4 with a steam gauges, simple GNS/GTN Combo sets, made as close as possible to the real PC-6, with HFFM and custom PT6A-34 Turborop. Nothing special.
