Just perform a Cobra while doing a dump & burn so you can then fly through the burn to de-ice.

In that case, is there a way to re-align the HSI? I had to do an emergency slew to avoid crashing into the ground and it slightly threw my HSI out of sync.

Bye the way, the plane is categorizes as “others” in the plane selection menu. This should be corrected ot “jets” category imo
The windshield defog lever is on the B/N (right) side, on the floor, under the radar tracking handle. Move it forward.

The wash and rain removal switch will also do it, but from the outside. Move that switch to rain remove.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm for most sim aircraft. In fact, I’ve only seen a couple that include a complete list of variables, and the controls they bind to.
Home cockpit builders who use SPAD or A&O to program peripherals are often ignored in favor of the ‘point-and-click’ majority. Being one of the former has led me to wait on a purchase until I know for sure that setting up my system won’t be an exercise in futility.
On a related note, that cockpit photo tells me I’d need to buy at least two more Streamdeck XL’s to get this puppy airborne.

In F111 windshield anti ice function based on hot antifreeze wash
But it will be functional after nearest update
