Maybe you should try it before suggesting it ![]()
Will fully-feathering props be implemented on this?
Nope. The āanchorā is visual. It doesnāt actual stop the plane from drifting.
I donāt know if itās possible on water, but perhaps creating a very high ādragā when anchor is used.
This seems to be a common problem with everything except the default amphiibous aircraft.
I have the issue with all 3rd party amphibious aircraft and boats, they will drift to the right even in still low wind/calm water.
I need to look inside of the Icon A5s cfgs and see if i can find specific code lines to keep it still in water as it will remain steady if you simply swap out the Icon A5 flightmodel.cfg with the Goose.
So an Icon G5?
Nice Aircraft! But the Frontal exterior sound (when u stay infront of the Plane) sounds weird. The sound just drops off and sounds very dull. its a huge Immersion Killer.
I know it does not work when the engines are running that is for sure. So will we get a working Anchor at some point then? Honestly I thought it was working when the engines were off. I have actually anchored a few times and not moved. Swear I sat in Singapore anchored waiting for the laser show the other night and didnāt move at all.
Because MSFS does not offer a default anchor for float planes, we have to custom code one. We hope to add one eventually though ![]()
AFAIK The Goose did NOT come with faethering props.
Yes, even the Hula Girl, though we probably need a choice between Hula Girl or Boy ![]()
Just something I briefly noticed after opting into the SU9 beta - during the bush trip, the voice of your guide seems to have gone from what sounded like me to a recorded voice, to the AI voice MSFS uses for ATC. Iāll try it again in a bit to see if thatās still the case.
This is high on my list. The shut down sound seems to need a transition phase.
Thereās plenty of locations with dock parking spots. If youād like I created 2 at my 69NH (formerly 8B8) Lakes Region Airport on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, an old airport I used to love to fly to that sadly was run under in 2005.
Took the latest update out for a spin and itās working well my only real issue now is the rudder. If you unplug everything and plug in an xbox controller the rudder works but not correctly. It fights with itself and canāt be held in position. I really should have made you a video for this I apologize.
Have you released the parking brake? It obstructs the rudder pedal movement.
Is that a thing with the Goose? It seemed to be working in the air but on the ground it has this weird flickering going on. Iāve had the break on plenty but with it being so heavy I sit with break off quite often too. I just noticed when doing a flight control test she has a jittery rudder. I will check again in a few minutes with the break⦠Hoping this is pilot error =)
the SU9 Beta is not supported with this plane
Woke up to see an email for a new version, 1.0.2a. Any one know whatās new?
The plane seems to work fine. Just the voice for the bush trip changed.
Further fixes to the LOD issue.
Cool, thanks.
