[Announcement] Stratoware + Miltech Simulations Bo105

Thanks for the update, I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Any news about the first patch?

Regarding MP ingestion: I’ll be resubmitting the package tonight. Dan from Miltech has just fixed the majority of ingestion issues (all career mode related) and we should be good to go. If there’s any more issues, they will be rectified quickly and we should have the final submission by tomorrow at the latest. So good news on this front! You can expect the product on the marketplace very soon!

Regarding the first patch: the MP version (and soon to be on all other stores) is technically v1.0.1. This is a very minor update with few changes, from brightening up the dark gauges to fixing electrical system issues. They’re essentially easy-to-fix bugs that we kept hearing about, and thought it would be a good idea to fix quickly. You can track the bugs and their status here: Miltech Simulations - Bug Tracker

For version 1.1 (first major update), we have logged all the bugs and features, and now need to create a plan with Miltech. We’ll do this after MP testing, and will keep everyone in the loop on our Discord servers as always!

TLDR; MP submission tonight and v1.1 to be planned.

That’s awesome to hear it’ll support Career Mode! Can’t wait for the release on Xbox!

Awesome news, can’t wait to buy this bird on the MP!

Hmm, what will come first I wonder? This or Taog’s latest masterpiece?

Taogs Dauphin will come definitely at first

Update 1.01 is live, I got it on Contrail. With better readable compass this is now a very nice heli - probably my favourite. Handles nice and predictable, very agile, easy on the systems.

We solved the career mode issues last week (as mentioned in my previous message), but were met with ingestion failures for no clear reason on Wednesday.

We’re usually given a list of errors blocking ingestion, but this time, we got an empty report - which gives us no clues for what’s wrong with the package. We believe this may actually be an issue with the marketplace submission platform, not the addon. We were able to test the passenger and SAR missions in game, and they work perfectly fine. Miltech is now in touch with MS for support on this matter, and we should have some progress this week.

We pushed out v1.0.1 yesterday too. Changelog:

  • [FIXED] HSI lag, overshoot, and incorrect heading response.
  • [FIXED] Reversed ILS glideslope, the indicator no longer travels up through the HSI into the artificial horizon.
  • [FIXED] Trim ball animation, corrected sensitivity and the inverted response relative to pedal input and yaw.
  • [FIXED] Mast moment needle sensitivity, now tied to rotor RPM so the needle stays still when the rotor isn’t turning.
  • [FIXED] Generator gauge ammeter logic.
  • [FIXED] Swapped Gen 1 / Gen 2 generator gauges.
  • [FIXED] Wiper producing noise with a dead battery.
  • [FIXED] All lights now connected to the main bus instead of the battery switch.
  • [FIXED] EFB app: updated code, refreshed FLIR keybind guide and QR codes, and fixed state saving.
  • [FIXED] EFB app now appears only in the Bo 105 instead of in every aircraft.
  • [FIXED] Corrected registration on the Dutch medical livery (PH-KHD → PH-KHE).
  • [FIXED] Cabin LOD values adjusted so the cabin no longer disappears from view too early.
  • [FIXED] Cleaned up aircraft.cfg formatting and corrected the manufacturer name to Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm.
  • [FIXED] Added the missing panel.cfg VCockpit section, restoring WTT compatibility and resolving GTN750 issues.
  • [IMPROVEMENT] Increased AO brightness on the HSI, ADI, and ADF gauges, including the trim ball.
  • [IMPROVEMENT] Reworked navgraph structure and updated preset-specific flight model files.
  • [ADDED] Three passenger seat SimObjects (SEAT_Bo105_Pax).

Release on marketplace will have to be pushed back by another week or two unfortunately. Apologies for the delay everyone!

Will the BO-105 be available in the PS5 Marketplace afterwards as well, or only in the Xbox Marketplace? I haven’t been able to find a proper statement so far. Thank you for your product!

Well, thank you for your efforts regardless. It must be frustrating to run into such issues. The documentation for this sort of thing appears to be a little sparse as well.

Content on the PS5 Marketplace is curated by Microsoft. They select what content makes it to Marketplace.

As such, we cannot confirm if or when the Bo105 will be available for PS5.

Announcement from the Stratoware Discord Server

We wanted to share some quick updates regarding the Bo 105:

Marketplace Release

Unfortunately, we have hit a roadblock in the ingestion process. Usually, errors that lead to failure of ingestion are displayed in the form of a report, which gives the developer context to fix the issue. During our last submission however, ingestion failed with an empty report. The core issue likely lies in the content management portal, and we’re hoping to hear back from Asobo next week for a fix.

Version 1.0.1 and 1.0.2

Future updates

Rather than pushing one large update every few months, we’ve decided to send out smaller updates more frequently. You can track our progress for bug fixes and feature requests here: Miltech Simulations - Bug Tracker

Thanks for reading!

Was really excited about this one, the MP release delay has been a huge letdown. Might still pick it up one day but now learning Taog’s great release instead. Shame as I was really excited about this one!

We’re strongly considering releasing the product with no career mode compatibility (if that even allows ingestion) for now, with a future update once the issues have been addressed by MS/Asobo.

SUNDOWNERSIM’s Berlin Tempelhof now released for MSFS: NOW AVAILABLE - Berlin Tempelhof (EDDI), 1970s Cold War by SUNDOWNERSIM

This scenery includes a ~3.5-hour campaign for the Bo105 (3 Missions). Fly a Bundespolizei helicopter out of historic Tempelhof, patrolling the Wall over a divided city. From dawn reconnaissance runs and medevac dashes to covert CIA extractions. (Requires Miltech Mission Hub and the Bo105, sold separately.)

Same, and I’m not interested using career mode at all and propably never will.

-eelis-

Why will you never be interested in using career mode?

Just not my thing, I mostly just fly around and explore the world.

This looks fun! Now let’s get the heli on the Marketplace!
