I suggest you uninstall it from the laptop (make sure you are online when you do) before logging on to your PC and updating or making an insignificant change to your MS account (or temporarily deleting the laptop from your MS profile). Then on the PC visit Store and Xbox to resync before attempting to install.
Activation has probably changed (since FSX days) so if it doesn’t prompt you must contact MSFS support. I very much doubt you can have a disk install showing on two separate devices without their intervention.
