This is 100% true. On the base version of the plane it was difficult to get the plane to slow down and descend on approach. With the GNS version, I was finding myself sometimes actually dropping short of the runway while using the same power & flap configurations as before.
Further, I believe the same issues may extend to the flight models of the Float & Ski variants. If you look at the cruise speeds of the different variants in the hanger, you’ll see that the GNS version’s is 20 knots faster than the other 3 variants. This should definitely not be the case if only the avionics have changed. It seems like something is messed up.
