Hello. Is microsobo holding anymore events before release? They’re disappointing due to pushing another Q&A until after release, but hoping that recent Arizona preview event wasn’t the last we’ll see of new content until release week. I’d like to say the logical is to build up marketing but seeing how they operate and took forever to repeatedly reshow the same launch trailer, I could see a quiet lull until launch.
Thoughts ?
There will be a Dev Stream every week leading up to the Sunrise (FS’24) launch.
12 studios will present the planes they’ve built for the new sim.
4 studios will present the scenery they’ve built as well.
Marketplace Team will talk about changes and features in Sunrise.
Next week (week of 10/9), there will be an SDK Part 2 because they couldn’t get through all the questions and points in this week’s stream.
Culminating with a release stream several days after Sunrise launches.
Meh. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about more preview events, trailers, videos, details and more. Answer more questions submitted over the past 1.5 years. New stuff. Jorg for some reason likes to recycle items & call it new. We’ve seen the same trailer at 2 expos now. We’ve learned about the dev partners already. Going into more detail is just a sub category of the main. Show us new stuff
They’re going to demo the aircraft and scenery they built for the sim. That’s not new?
We’ve already seen and heard about those items. Be it trailers, aircraft offering diagram, fs expo interviews etc.
I’m talking about more of what the global preview event had. More content posted to YouTube of people checking out places and activities etc.
I think it’s very nice to have the weekly dev streams with partners, BUT I would love to see the discovery videos. More details about the twin earth and new physics would be nice. Also more details on the improvements for the weather engine. Maybe even talking about the weather radar and improvements planned for it, I think they are letting people spread fake informations about the weather radar by not adressing it accordingly.
I want more info on career mode, specifically the ‘Company Tab’ you can see in one of the videos. How in depth is it? Can you search by flight length? Does the company you found include cargo? Pax option and or emergency options? Can you plunk down ‘fictional factories’ like in air hauler?
Then there is how in depth the new flight planner is, ect.
That is stuff I figure content creators would get an advanced copy for so they could drum up hype.
