I know some of you have said the FLT/CTL/SEC switches fix the swaying problem, but has anyone tried this to fix the AP/FP bug?
Maybe what I did is a workaround 
Selecting direct to a waypoint after takeoff

I had the same AP issue. I had the A32NX developer version installed when the new FS2020 update came in. AP flies hard left following the flight director. None of the selected modes on the FCU work. Follow these instructions that worked for me:

Exit FS2020. Delete A32NX folder from community. Temporarily move all liveries somewhere else.

Start FS2020, go to content manager. Find the Asobo A320 Neo and uninstall it. Exit FS2020.

Start FS2020, to content manager, install Asobo A320. Fly it. Autopilot works normal. Exit FS2020.

Put all of your liveries back, get latest A32NX Developer version again. Launch FS2020. AP works good again. Fix the slight wing rocking by disabling ELAC2, SEC2, SEC3, and FAC2, all on the FO (right) side of the overhead panel.
If you use community add-ons, it must be understood that it creates FAR more variables and combinations that Asobo cannot reasonably test. They are already supporting this flight simulator over a wide gamut of various PC hardware configurations. You can help them out by not submitting bug reports for something that was caused by an add-on. Even if you remove an add-on, it can leave stuff behind and screw stuff up.

One thing is sure: ASOBO implemented ( amongst other aircrafts) the A32N in the sim…point.
It was flyable…for xbox gamer…fair enough.
Once that is done, and EXPERTS as Flybywire, transform the game, in a decent simulator for pc simmers, they (ASOBO) should keep their hands OFF !!! Da… it !
Or more realistically : Asobo should communicate to all the concerned 3rd parties… payware or freeware of which code they are going to change in the next update,so they can already prepare for a fast fix upon release of the update…common sense, people…common sense 
Luckilly for us, Flybywire are very quick to fix the issues after every update. But what a waste of time, while they could continue on the improvement of the A32NX file, or development of the A380 for ex.

So the very latest dev update by the FBW team shows promise. I successfully completed a flight from cyyt-cyhz starting from cold and dark, taxi to runway, it followed the flight plan, it followed my altitude, it followed my heading, it captured a localiser and glideslope and took me to minimums no problems. I don’t want to give myself or anyone else false hope…but im going to try another flight shortly.
It’s the entire AP code that is hosed, not just A320🤡

Latest developement update from FBW A32NX solved the problem for me (no other changes, and particularly, no dead-zone messing for me).
Coming from cold and dark, everything seems to be working fine, it´s folowing its flight plan again.
Such a relief. This was the first real game-breaking issue for me. No A320NX, no sim. And yesterday was the most catastrophic day for me since using FS2020.
I have to look how to make a donation for the FBW project. Sure they deserve it.

you’ve got a point there, sir, but it isn’t that black and white probs…or solutions.
I refuse to uninstall anything regarding FS2020 base game, as already there, MS screwed up on my side with a simple problem of foreign caracter not recognised. I had to buy the GodDa… premium deluxe content TWICE, Xbox gaming wouldn’t recognised my new user account name on the same IP address 
So, NO, i will not go into uninstalling anything from the base game…EVER
If Asobo planes are not working , people will buy expensives add-ons, sometimes much more expensives than MSFS . IT’S ONLY QUESTION OF BUISNES for Asobo and Microsoft .
FBW and other mods are no good for microsoft BUISNES.
This is wrong IMO… good freeware addons drive sales of other items like airports, scenery etc. I can buy 1 cool plane or use the awesome freeware one and buy 4 cool airports. I’m thinking the latter is more profitable over the long run. I’ve 100% spent more money in MSFS (regrettably after this last “patch”) thanks to the progress the NX team has made.
For now, apparently this version of the FBW mod works without autopolit issues (it’s from a few weeks ago):

I already posted this yesterday, without a big success I must say.
I tried it and it works…
That is great and all, but as I originally posted in the beginning, I’m not using any mods such as the FBW or A320NX. I’m currently only using the default A320neo with a livery pack, that’s it. I’m glad the FBW team made an update, but I’m more interested (and others too probably who don’t use mods) in a solution for the default A320neo.

Again, for those of us who aren’t using any mods (like myself), we want solutions and fixes for the default A320neo. Hey, I’m glad thing’s seem to be improving for you and the mod, but that doesn’t help all of us here.

People, let’s remember to consider those of us (like myself) who aren’t using any mods such as FBW/NX, and instead fly the default A320!
Use the mod, it completely surpasses anything default. No reason not to.

Hi there,
FBW published a possible work around. Would you please try this (with C&D start) and see what happens:
- AP banking and not following flight plan (being investigated by the FBW team)
Workaround:
1. Spawn Cold and Dark
2. when loaded in hit "esc" then "save" and name flight.
3. Immediately hit "load" and select flight.
4. It will reload then proceed as normal flight
