From what I can see, we are stuck on the PMDG 737 3.0.100 whereas they are at .106 now. The current marketplace release uses the old airac file, so we are stuck with it.
Marketplace page also doesn’t show any changes since September 19.
Are they getting lazy because MSFS 2024? Doesn’t strike confidence

Agreed, the lack of support is ridiculous for Xbox players overall in my opinion. But currently now I feel like they are only focused on 2024 at the moment. What’s so hard about getting the update delivered to consoles?? The PMDG update has been out way over a week now.

It’s hard to understand why there is salt here.
If you read PMDG’s forum, the update was meant to come out last Thursday (obviously it didn’t) or this Thursday.
At least give it until the forecasted dates before pouring on the salt.
”For MS Marketplace customers, we are uploading the 3.00.0106 build to Marketplace intake as we speak, and we think it may arrive for you either one week from today, or two weeks from today. We won’t know until next week.”

They haven’t seen the light yet that Flight sim is becoming an all in one sim where you really don’t need a PC anymore to have plenty of add-ons and a decent experience.

Well I tell you one thing, with the way Xbox users have been treated, there’s absolutely NO WAY I’m buying 2024. Plus with all the content online showing the sim and how great it is I have yet to see anyone demonstrate it running on an Xbox. I have zero confidence that it will work well at all.

It´s not only the XBOX version but also the PC version lacks the 3.00.106 in the Marketplace. The PC version also shows only 3.0.100. MSFS Marketplace is, as of today, ~2 weeks behind with its updates.
Agreed, this support delay is yet another reason not to migrate to 2024.

The same Marketplace ingestion team runs the Marketplace in both sims.
Honestly, we used to wait months for an update to make its way through the Marketplace and now people are busting out the pitchforks before even two weeks have passed.
As I said only a couple of posts ago, PMDG submitted the update and expected it to post to the Marketplace last Thursday (didn’t happen) or today.
People, really, get a grip on reality.

Customers payed for a PMDG product. Then there was an update released Oct 31st. But that update is not propagated to the paying customers by Microsoft. This just feels odd.
Of course one might argue, a few days delay or a (few) week(s) delay without any communication is acceptable for a customer-oriented company.
I may be wrong, but I just have the impression that customers are second priority for the Marketplace owners.

PMDG communicated about it three weeks ago on their forum. That is the official place to find information about their product line.
I’ve posted what they said here to help people out.
Yet, that seems to not be getting read and then people are upset because they haven’t taken the time to read.
I don’t really know how to help these people beyond repeating what I’ve already stated. Will that even get read?
The Marketplace has always had a delay for new sales and updates of most 3rd party content. This is a known entity. This forum is filled with threads/posts about it.
Microsoft has worked very hard to improve this process, and it absolutely has. However, it still takes time to get through that process. Sometimes it can be pretty quick, sometimes it may take a couple of weeks.
Neither PMDG nor Microsoft have done anyone wrong in this case. Really. They have not.

Apologies that I misinterpreted PMDG´s post dated Oct 31st - as some others:
They wrote: […A few moments ago we have made live a new build update for the 737 product line … it may arrive for you either one week from today, or two weeks from today. We won’t know until next week]
So the […or two weeks from now…] is acually today, Oct 14.
It would be just “nice” to communicate what they know about the Marketplace update.
So I try to be more patient next time - and read threads more thoroughly.

I agree with you, and I’d add that there are other developers that are waaay behind pmdg on that front, as well

I don’t frequent their forums. My experience in their forums left such a bad taste in my mouth that I asked for my account to be removed. They’ll get no business from me I don’t care how great their planes are.

Sure, and that is a very valid personal thing.
However, it doesn’t take away from the fact that they posted an update and gave estimated dates for when that update would be available on the Marketplace, which is the point of this thread.

This update is for FS2020, not FS2024! I do not understand why that would make you not use FS20204.

It’s possible the update isn’t happening today, either.
I just fired up the sim and my only update is for the Azurpoly Bronco (that update wasn’t there yesterday), which makes me think today’s new releases/updates have posted to the Marketplace and the 737 isn’t a part of them.
Well hopefully PMDG plans to have this aircraft compatible with 2024 without having to purchase again. It’s an amazing aircraft with by far the best performance I’ve endured on Xbox just annoying to fly with outdated nav data.
I doubt the update will land for 2020 anytime this month due to Xbox’s certification process. When it does come, I will probably be playing 2024 if it’s at a playable stage.

Why are all the updates and new aircraft coming in except for the 737 pmdg update ? They said on October 31 that it would be released a week from the 31st or at most 2. Then 2 have passed and still no way of the update, even The rj professional was released earlier and was announced after pmdg released the update. Of all developers I noticed that pmdg it always comes last. They say to ask Microsoft so could we have some explanation ?
