Any update on xbox pmdg release to marketplace

Even though I am a customer of PMDG products, I was banned from their forum for asking about my refund

Here is where I’m confused… PMDG states that they receive no money from the sales of THEIR Products on the Marketplace…I find this INCREDIBLY hard to believe. So…PMDG, as a software developer, is just GIVING their products to MSFS Marketplace for free and letting MS sell THEIR products for the exact same price as the PMDG website without receiving a dime from MS? And by doing so has no ability to track who’s buying said software? I have bought EVERY SINGLE PMDG aircraft…every single one. All I want, as an Xbox user, is to be treated with the same respect and concern as a PC user would be if they bought directly from PMDG. This is a slippery slope that you have committed to. PMDG makes great products, but right now is treating the customers who bought from The Marketplace (because we have no other choice) like we don’t even exist. If you can’t properly provide support and services for your software products through Marketplace then I suggest you don’t offer them for sale…period. And I hate to say this, but I don’t believe you at all that you don’t receive any money from YOUR software that I purchased. If that’s true, than you are not very intelligent business owners.

Mate, the update is coming. They also never said they don’t get paid, they get paid by Microsoft from X number of sales, not us directly

It’s a shame, there are already 3 updates in pmdg and the store is stagnant. They do not inform, the msfs2024 is very stupid but give importance to those that were before, and an update of pmdg 737 right now

Ahum. Please read my post again. You seem to have missed a bit here and there. The amount of misinformation shared on this topic is surprising.

It’s a shame, there are already 3 updates in pmdg and the store is stagnant.

Microsoft informed us this week that the 1.08 version was ready for testing, and we okayed it for release minutes later. However, the also let us know that due to Thanksgiving, it will not be released this week

We did not sell it to you after all. You will have to discuss this with Microsoft, from whom you bought it. Keep in mind that we do NOT know who bought a product on the Marketplace. The only data we get is the number of sales. Nothing more.

@LentesAzules, I am not aware of any other channel to see this information. I thought the PMDG forum is public and does not require authentication to view. But I am not an IT expert.

But what I learned in this discussion is that users who bought e.g. PMDG products via Marketplace are formally Microsoft/Asobo customers but not PMDG customers.

Lets see what surprises the next FS2020 update will bring to us
