Anyone else experiencing pushback issues w/ A320NX

The A320NX pushback didn’t work for me tonight. Tug connected be wouldn’t budge when a direction arrow was chosen. Yes, the parking brake on the plane was off. Very annoying!!!

Sometimes you have to press it 2x or 3x. As long as when you press the pushback tug and it moves and connects to your aircraft. The direction arrow should work afterwards.

I had the same issue and used the tablet in the cockpit for push back. The ATC pushback request seems to not work.

Are you still using ATC pushback request when you already have the FlyPad pushback? I’ve stopped using ATC since even before the FlyPad was implemented and used Pushback helper tool, because it’s more instantaneous when I want to start my pushback and make my manoeuvre.

Pushback Helper app also has problems with the NX. A couple of times I needed to use the reverse thrusters to get out of the gate!

Neither was working in my case. The plane “bucked” as if it was bumped into when I selected a direction to push. Have not tried it since, but thanks.

I attempted using both the Fly Pad and MS ATC. No luck, but I haven’t tried it since Tuesday. Perhaps there’s a conflict between the two?

The tug only moves into position. After that the direction buttons wouldn’t work. I will try it again as soon as possible.

You didn’t leave the parking brake on, did you?

Oh, yes it was off. I actually discovered a possible bug? The plane still moves even when I forget to release the brake! The tug is performing better now. Sim is now crashes every time I fly the A320NX and flight plan via Simbrief. Very frustrating.

I Do have the same problem with the A320-FBW … I use the slew mode to “leave” the gate …

I had the same problem and so another vote for pushback helper here.
