I’m not sure if this is just Beta 16 related but it happens in all aircraft using DLSS and preset K (maybe not related) where I have the screen flash for a split second randomly but maybe every 20 seconds or so on average. (It may not happen for a while or twice in quick succession, couldn’t pin it down to any action in the aircraft)

I have to , and crashes to , stutters what happen to this game ?! I have most new Graphic drivers !
The game CTD every 15-30 min of gameplay ! IN every plane i use ! Now I trying in safe mode of the game. Wish me luck . And i have more crashes when i use custom liveries !
Fortunately not had any crashes nor many stutters.
I know it crashes if you you overclock sometimes though so if you have overclocked try with standard settings.
Stutters tend to happen when main thread is struggling so try lowering a couple of settings that affect CPU llke quality of shadows and terrain draw distance and see if you still get them.
If you do get that intermitent flash could you please vote this bug report.
@MuckyMe, I’ve been flying FS2020 SU16 beta pretty regularly for the last month, with no screen flickers at all. And that’s using two monitors and frequently switching between cockpit, external, and drone views.
Are you sure this does not happen if you use the same settings and flight in SU15 on the device?
If it only happens in SU16, it would be useful to know a bit more about your setup (Xbox or PC? Graphics card and hardware specs etc.)
If it also happens when you leave the beta and recreate the same flight and settings in SU15 (or when playing other non-FS but still grahpically demanding games) then it is more likely to be a driver or GPU performance/temperature issue, or even an issue with your monitor or cable.
Hopefully you can narrow down what might be causing it, because I can imagine it’s frustrating to fly with this issue.

This seems to be specific to SU16, didn’t happen pre Beta.
Are you using DLSS preset K in SU16?
It isn’t hardware related as it only happens in MFS2020.
I will have to experiment with other DLSS presets and settings in the Nvidia panel.
Yes. Flying above St Louis, trees are flickering but it wasn’t persistent.
Thanks for the report, but this is a very quick flash of the whole screen so that maybe a different issue to the one I am having.
Are you using G Sync or Free Sync.?
They often cause flickering when the fps dips below a certain level. Below 48 fps on my monitor.
That’s why i no longer use it for msfs as my fps often drops below that value.
No to those I’m afraid though I do have my fps capped at and currently running my monitor at just 60hz (reasons)
Still to test it with another preset but will report back when I have.
