Anyone else spend a long time on the world map trying to decide where to fly?

My solution to this problem is long range travels : I choose a part of the world that I decide to visit thoroughly. So I prepare a global itinerary, with scenic attractions, that I follow bit by bit every day. And I always take off from the place I landed the day before.

You can play several of these itineraries with different planes in the same time, choosing which one you want to progress on, dregarding the local whether or your current mood.

At this time, I have 3 “grand tour” in progress :

  • western USA in a Dr400 (160HP version, the stock one is not powerfull enough for the moutains).
  • Europe with the TBM830
  • New-Zealand with the XCub.
  • And I’ll probably start UK with a slow plane tomorrow.
