Definitely sticking to 2020 until 2024 at least makes it into beta. It would be great indeed if they’d tackle the many bugs remaining in 2020. I know MSFS is a huge game, but should a AAA title marketed as a “simulation,” sold for $80, really have so much terrain gore - and not just in remote Siberian wilderness, but in inhabited areas - and half-finished planes with so many recycled assets in the cockpits?
Not to mention the ongoing issues with optimization and CTD errors on high-end systems.
People who paid for the game just want it to be finished, I don’t think that’s unreasonable.
If only you were right. They would not have to return anyone’s money. There are many games on Steam that have been abandoned in a beta state after the developer moved onto the sequel. They’re not obligated - to customers, anyway - to finish the game, which is why being vocal is The Way.
