Just wondering if anyone’s seen live traffic in the UK? I certainly haven’t. I’ve seen it in the US but never, ever seen ANY in the UK.
There’s probably not too much going on in RL, at least in passenger flights, due to the lockdown rules, and when you combine that with a potentially low percentage in your traffic settings, it would result in a low number being visible in sim.
Have you tried a higher percentage, to see if that increases the number of flights?
Good point, thanks. I’ll set it to Max and check out EGLL as there are about 10 flights per hour departing today.
The slide bar is for AI traffic, not real traffic, you get what you get.
Msfs only EVER shoes a small % of live traffic. There are about 4k commercial planes flying daily, even with COVID. You can see them on tracking websites.
ah, OK. Thanks for that.
I decided to switch to offline AI and BAM !!! CTD !!! So it’s back to Live Traffic and empty skies!
I noticed that in the UK as well. In real life, I live near London Gatwick and Hardly any planes have been flying recently. I flew in the us the past few days and there’s traffic galore. Especially in cruise and at the airport.even Europe and the Caribbean has a good bit still…
I “hear” them a lot via ATC, London centre giving flight levels to a cargo jet… but thats about it. Then again I mainly fly between small airports in the South West of England, so not a lot of traffic anyway…
If “Live” traffic means more ATC calls demanding the expedition of climbs or descents then I am quite happy without it.
