Anyone get FSLTL to work in MSFS2024?

I cant get much traffic to show, i did the turn off aircraft in graphic settings on both, and set the online traffic to off.. is this correct?

I load the injector, i see it loading up things in the command line, i see one aircraft appear parked, one and only one, wait about 3-5 mins nothing else.

For me the command line is showing that most traffic injected is removed by MSFS Traffic Engine - this is an issue known by FSLTL, so I assume they’re working towards a solution.

It’s been bug logged in the Dev forum. No ETA for a fix.

I wish there was a tad bit more urgency for getting traffic up and running… In its current state it’s leagues worse than what was achieveable in 2020. I know it’s most likely not FSLTLs issue- the animations, models, gate attachments and lighting all seem pretty nice. That’s where it all stops. Taxiing rarely works- planes often bunch up into each other. Planes rarely if ever land correctly. Usually you have a bunch of low level flybys. I also have BATC- the gates don’t connect, the animations are jerky. Planes often hover above the runway and then suddenly jerk to ground level. Planes seem to take the entire runway and then again jerk into a nose up position then eventually take off. Planes still get bunched up and there seems to be no removal time- if it happens it’s all over. I’ve also had a few crashes where you have to start BATC over again. Default traffic can look great- issue is it’s just a completely random assortment of planes placed all over the place- cessnas parked at a heavy gate and so on… The liveries rarely match what should be present. I remember in 2020 if I disabled the default traffic file (something AIG) did when I would open it- live traffic almost worked well but could be very taxing. AIG is so frustrating to load all of the flightplans and models… I’ve left it to download overnight several times only to find in the morning there was an error and everything stopped. I haven’t yet been able to play around with it enough to make a verdict but the last time I used it it also seemed pretty demanding for my 4090, 13900k setup… If anyone knows of some other combo that gives good traffic I’d love to hear about it… Please Asobo give FSLTL the abilty to give us at least what we had in 2020 and or fix the disaster that is live traffic. I love how the trailer shows a busy airport with all the right liveries- something that couldn’t be further from the truth for what’s actually achieveable in 2024.

I didn’t have 2020 but went from FSX to 2024 so I can’t compare it with 2020.

In 2024 i have FSLTL working without any problems and see a lot of liveries at the gates. Don’t know if they are correct though but it’s nice not to be alone.

P.s. I am wondering why the ai traffic and atc behavior in FSX was so much better? Maybe not the official atc callouts but you didnn’t get weird instructions like climb when you are on approach. Also the communications with ai traffic worked perfectly. The ai traffic in FSX parked at the correct gates, did stop for you and vice versa, hold short in correct position, you would collide with ai traffic instead of going through them (maybe that’s a good thing in 2024 because the way planes are behaving and randomly parked now :thinking:), etc.

Please Asobo take a look at good old FSX and take a lesson from it.
