I’ve tested this some more and for me, deadzone does not make any difference. I’ve flown a 40 minute leg without issues from 0 to FL440 and as soon as the new leg started with a slight turn the plane started to swing left en right, setting deadzone to different values did nothing. Only fix is to disengage NVAN and use HEADING instead. This is clearly a AP issue, not a controller setting.
