See a lot of negativity so thought I will chip in and give credit where credit is due, here’s what I’m experiencing after the update. Lot more smoother (flying in vr only) better looking trees, better looking water, so much better handling of photogeometry (that’s the biggest one for me), before the update I sometimes paused the game to wait as those melted monstrosities will form into shape of buildings, now flying through mega cities and I see stuff that people have in their gardens, did my wifi got amazing out of sudden after the update or did they get sth right in that area? Kinda feels like they did sth right.
Only small con, there’s some bug with vfr map that will make some legs of my flightplan disaapear. Hope there’s hotfix for that but even that can be fun, I use compass and visual aids more now.
So overall, great update. I was a kiribati citizen because I was so anxious on the premiere day, and it’s been 9 months now and I’m still anxious to fly it. Thanks asobo.
to be honest, didn’t notice that, but it could be because I’m not flying on super high settings as I’m cutting corners where it’s only possible (flying vr with mediocre gpu).
I saw it happening this morning when I approached the eastern shore of Lake Baikal. I used to have the mod that enhanced the draw distance but after the last update it doesn’t work anymore.
The whole program is working very well and improving with each update. I am a veteran user, since FS3 in the 80´s. Living in a small city in the interior of Brazil, with a medium hardware system and only good internet conection, in HIGH settings, I do not suffer any of the problems that I see reported here
Had addon scenery crashes galore after this update. Cleared rolling cache, removed content xml file, reinstalled navigraph and now everything runs smooth, frames are climbing back, addon sceneries and my 737 works great now as it has been updated for the latest patch. Happy me and happy weekend:+1:
