hi. Recently i decided to fly the default A320neo and i saw that i couldn’t engage the APP button. Although i was pressing it in order to get established by a localizer during ILS approach it was turning off by itself. does anyone experiencing the same?
Did you have the right frequency in for the ils?
Until now i didnt set an ILS frequency because i thought that it was automatically set. When i set a flight plan in the MCDU i decide which rwy i will approach. When i get close to the airport by pressing the app button i m established by the localizer and the glideslope begins. All this with the A32NX. The default A320 doesnt respond during the last approaches. One in LSZH and the other one in LGAV. What should i do in order to import the ILS frequency manually?
Check the RAD NAV page.
Yeah, the A32NX populates the ILS frequency automatically when you choose the arrival in the F-PLN page. the default A320 doesn’t do that. You need to either open a chart or just google the ILS frequency. Then open the NAV RAD page, and enter the frequency number in the ILS field. And that should do it. Remember to also click the LS button to turn on the ILS guidance on the PFD.
I finally made it work. Thank you all guys for your help. Appreciate it
