Why does the A320 reverse course on approach? Is there a fix?
It’s been a long standing bug.
For now, the solution is to use Direct To to the next waypoint to set it straight again.
If you’re a PC user, it is also recommended to use the FBW mod.
If you’re on PC, you should use the FBW A320 mod instead of the default plane. Not only does it add a ton of great features, it also fixes that flyback bug as well as fixing a lot of other issues with the default plane.
