Not everyone has the time or patience to do all the workarounds to (maybe) have FS2020 working and loading properly.
I assume the devs are working on it, but it would be nice to have an ETA on the patch?
Managed to have one full flight before the crashes started, and it was already wonderfull (made a smooth landing while others were struggling around me). It was a nice taste, but it is a bit sour now with all the problems.
I can only comment on the ETA from Devs part.
Often times developers refrain from giving any ETAās because even they canāt accurately estimate when the bugs will be 100% fixed. Even if they do have a timeframe in mind, unexpected bugs could also come up in the patch update which in turn could delay things even further.
Problem is when you give an ETA for a patch of 2 days, if by that time the developers encounter other bugs with the patch, they wonāt release the patch until all issues are resolved. This further delay can aggravate the community even further in the name of āNo transparency from the devsā.
Well, ETA does mean ESTIMATED Time of Arrival, so I would give some leeway if they say something like āaround :ā or āsometime next weekā or so.
in an ideal world with reasonable people, yes that would be fine. Unfortunately a lot of people get upset if ETA are not met and donāt understand the concept at all.
