I actually have to copy the same SOUNDAI folder to every livery folder that I have. I tried using some reference method to avoid having to copy multiple folders. But it didn’t work. The sound is still missing. I only can get it to work when there’s one SOUNDAI folder “for each livery”. Meaning I have to duplicate the same folder across all of my liveries and manually edit each aircraft.cfg to point to that SOUNDAI folder.
But generally yes. I do share liveries between A320 and A32NX into a single “addon”.
But I only put the livery texture into the Asobo_A320 folder, while the FlyByWire is actually “reading from the Asobo A320” texture folder. That way, I only need one copy of the same texture files and they’re used for Both Asobo A320, and FBW A32NX simultanously without the need of multiple livery texture files that are basically the same thing.
As for the livery matching. I also added this note in the mod description page.
For A320 livery creators:
If you include an AI Traffic model.cfg and a separate FLTSIM entry with isAirTraffic=1. Make sure you have a matching ICAO airline code. This will help other people downloading your livery to also be used as an AI traffic that will work with this mod. As this mod will force everyone to have the A320 as AirTraffic, and the sim will use your livery for AirTraffic that uses the same matching ICAO code. See the section below for known issue when it comes to AI AirTraffic livery.
The problem is some liveries have the wrong ICAO code, or not at all. In these cases, even though you have the liveries installed, they won’t be used for the Air Traffic because the ICAO airline code doesn’t match or doesn’t exist. So make sure the ICAO code for each of your liveries are correctly entered.
For Air Traffic that doesn’t have a matching ICAO code from your livery collection. MSFS would pull from a random pool of liveries. This has been happening since at least the SU4 update. Prior to SU4, if the Air Traffic doesn’t have a matching ICAO code from your list of installed liveries, they would pull and render the liveries randomly from
