Arrival Parking and ATC

Continuing the discussion from Arrival parking preselected in the World Map not used by ATC since SU6:

Hello Microsoft;
About this arrival parking situation;
As an ex Microsoft MVP for games in 2006-2007 and as I am active within the community as an immersion advisor I get a considerable amount of mail asking questions and/or supplying comment on various aspects of the sim.
Most of what I receive is positive and I agree. The sim is doing well and in my opinion has come a long way since release.
I have to tell you however that I receive a LOT of negative mail from upset GA type sim end users asking about this arrival parking issue.
In testing myself I have to agree the situation REALLY needs some attention. Selecting an arrival spot using the flight planner does indeed result in a disappointing experience for the simmer.
I’ve tested it myself and had terrible results.
Rather than leave you a rant on this issue can I PLEASE ask that this be seriously looked at and fixed.
It’s a shame from several points of view that something so basic to the sim not be working correctly. For many it’s an immersion killer that leaves the sim enthusiast with a huge negative at the end of what otherwise was a positive experience.
May I suggest respectfully that whoever deals with this area of the sim take a look at it and fix this in an upcoming update?
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,

I would like to add a slightly different, but I think related request. When I land with GA without a preassigned spot, the ground control gives taxi instructions but doesn’t give any indication of the spot to go to. I end up taxing around looking for the guy to direct me into a spot. Can it please give a spot number so we have an idea where we are taxiing to?

Is there anything in the SDK that can be used to retrieve this information? The sim clearly knows the destination since there is a guy there to direct you in.
