Does anyone else here not see any aileron and elevator animations on this new bird? I only see the
rudder animating in external view. The control surfaces still function using my TM T16000 joystick but I see no movement from these surfaces. Not animating with the default keyboard commands either. Would like to know if this is my setup, a bug, or by design. The latter would make me the most sad.

Already voted on that thread. Did you turn on the fuel valve on the lower left? So you see the rudder move but not the elevators or ailerons, correct?
Using Steam version, not using developer mode, no changes mades.
On the control stick, look near the floor for a “gust lock” or something to that effect. It seems to lock/unlock the controls.

Gust lock! Arrrrgh. That was it. Thanks Eagle, grateful for your reply and a little embarrassed. Was convinced this was a glitch or something because the control functionality was there, just not the animation, despite lock engaged.
Took me forever to randomly stumble on! It isn’t in the checklists or anything. I just happened to mouse over it and clicked it.

I would never have found it. That said, it seems the bug does indeed still exist as there seems to be no equivalent lock release in the steam gauge version, which I actually prefer using. Unless you can find one again for me
