Like some others, the Assistance Options in my MSFS have been self (not me) setting to Easy, since SU7.
I’ve noticed that this happened first when I updated to SU7 and updated the G1000 NXI to v9.1. It has saved my Hard settings ok until today when I updated the G1000 NXI to v9.2 and all the Assistance settings went to Easy, after the update. That leads me to think the G1000 NXI update process is changing the Assistance settings or something associated with that download.
If you have issues with the Assistance settings not saving, take note if the timing corresponds to either updating the G1000 NXI or updating something else.
Oh, the NXI is a nice bit of kit.
