I don’t think I have ever heard a mission statement from Asobo or MS to develop this to the level, where a type-rating is possible. This sim has different goals to my understanding, to entice as many people as possible with the aviation. Sims like P3D are niche because of that different approach. The new upcoming planes may be high-level, but unlikely to reach the level some are expecting them to do.
