ATC Auto Vector Guidance

Hi,
Today I launched a flight filling a plan from the main flight menu in MSFS. I got an ATC flight tracking but I had to manually request for next waypoint vector for each of of them.
Isn’t there a way for the ATC to automatically advise vector change to reach the next waypoint up to the final approach ?
Thank you,
Greg

If you are talking about a VFR flight plan with flight following then you get exactly what you would in real life.
ATC does not tell you how to fly your flight plan, unless you ask for help.
Imagine a sector with 20-30 airplanes flying and the poor controller would have to vector all of them, verify they are following instructions and correct if they are not.
They don’t even do that for IFR flights, only during certain approach sectors if that increases safety and aids in traffic volume management.
