All Stock in Deluxe Edition and third party.

Brief description of the issue:

ATC starts reading data to another aircraft (not the one I’m flying) ie Jetblue 24… then jumps to next aircraft traffic. Complete message appears on script on screen.

PC specs and peripheral set up:

Ryzen 5 5600G, 16 GB RAM, 3060 RTX, 2 TB drive

In my experience this has been the case in SU12 ( and earlier) as well. So this is not a reversion due to this beta release.

Don’t worry beyondATC is coming to the rescue to the Sim near you.

This ATC problem has been an issue since the beginning of time.

Certainly not a regression, but supposedly this category is being monitored by the devs and it has apparently not been in the past. Sorry - that’s they way it is and I’m not trying disparage anyone, but have it get attention. I have been with MSFS since installing it with discs in the early 80s and have never seen the attention to things that it gets today, but sometimes the “little but important” things slip by.

9 out of 10 flights for me now I have zero voice from ATC. Just text. Sometimes my own voice also stops. Is there even a slight fix / workaround for this?

  1. Change COM1 frequency to disconnect the ATC channel with text only
  2. Tune COM2 to the frequency that had text only on COM1

This should restore voice and text but only for a while until ATC voices are lost again and the only recourse is to restart MSFS. This workaround has been used since this unresolved issue was first reported in July of 2021.

Thanks, I’ll try that. I don’t often use ATC but how can they just leave this unresolved?!

Never used to be this way. I hope Beyond ATC is not reliant on this working?!
