I was just about to duplicate this in the cessna 152 also. I took off from KTOL 7, all was good till about 2 mins in, then the electronics seemed to be the only thing impacted. The plane did not fall out of the fly like the helicopter did, however, all the avionics & the ATC started flickering when I opened it up. Same as your issue. The engine continues normally in the Cessna and the gauges seemed to be ok. Just anything that had to do with the electrinics (at first glance) seemed impacted. The radios were flickering power noticeably. Then, I opened up the ATC window (as that’s what you experienced) and duplicated this.
