ATC IFR clearance not responding in A320neo V2

Specific to A320neo V2; . ATC ‘Request IFR clearance’ will not respond on ground. ATIS functions and if select clearance delivery I can hear other aircraft communicating with ATC. However, no amount of clicking on the ‘Request IFR clearance’ options, either by key or mouse results in my aircraft connecting to ATC.

I have tried removing all contents from the Community folder and multiple combinations of flightplans, created both by SimBrief and MSFS Flight Planner.

‘Request IFR Clearance’ works with all other aircraft including the default A320.’

NOTE: This was working in September, 2024 as I have several flights recorded in the logbook.

Solved. Frustrated user error…

Great !, could you share what was the solution if any ?

I remembered to turn and press the VHF1 knob so I could hear, but forgot to depress the CALL button above it so I could speak.

Apparently somewhere between September, where I had no issue and now, I forgot that bit of information. It has now been added to my checklist.
