IFR FLight Plan filed and cleared.
When requesting Vectors to next Waypoint, ATC does Not give you the correct heading to that waypoint if you are not on your initial flightplan leg.
ie If you are OFF Course, ATC gives you vector “assuming” you are on “the Magenta line”, and not from your current Position.
Makes asking for Vectors pretty pointless, unless maybe you have forgotten the name of your next waypoint. ATC does get that right.
ATC “Should” give you the magnetic heading to your next waypoint, from your CURRENT position (That they see on their Radar - or however they are tracking you)
