ATC needs to stop assigning odd altitudes at odd times

I’m 10 miles from my destination… why is ATC telling me to climb to FL 20?
My plane doesnt even go that high!
Need a reply option for ATC “cessna N1234P is type 152 and is not capable of FL20”

This is because the ATC script is very simple and doesn’t handle complex airspaces well. So it’s implementing simple restrictions without taking context into account. Basically it’s a fairly simple program at the moment.

ATC altitude assignments are capped by the cruising altitude in the NAVLOG and by waypoint altitude crossing restrictions. Try setting something reasonable in your cruising altitude like 5,500 ft.

I believe we all know what you mean but just to be clear: assuming you mean FL200? Neither FL20 or FL020 are meaningful.
