I personally stopped using IFR because of that but it’s not a show stopper. I believe this is an issue that will be fixed in time. The sim is still young.
Instead, I plan my flight through Navigraph. It’s not free but it makes your prep and flight as real as it gets… except without ATC.
Also, works well with the A320 Neo A32NX mod.
