Yes this started in SU2 beta and for Xbox users they can’t resize there window so they are stuck without the options at the bottom of the list unless they remember the numbered key responses.
I think there is a fundamental issue with the layout of the comm panel, due to the fact both the message list and the response options are displayed in virtualized listviews and actually compete for display size. Leading ultimately to layout unstabilities. The scrolling behavior of those virtualized listviews is also weird and sometimes it is actually very hard to scroll to the actual item you want to click.
Virtualization of the list of answers is probably not required given the limited amount of max options. It would be much better to have them in a div that grows with content, maybe with a fixed max height and automatic overflow / scrollbar visibility, if you really want to guarantee the message list part of the ui stays larger.

I’m not sure if it was when ATC was communicating to me or an AI pilot but my communications window had about 10 icons of the ATC tower but no text. I don’t know if that is what is pushing the response options off the communications window or not, but both issues showed up as soon as I entered SU2 on 4/25/25. The issue of the communications log still suffers the issue where it stops scrolling a short time after beginning my flight. It causes a never ending game of cat & mouse trying to scroll back down to the bottom of the communications window to see what was said. It compounds the issue if I am in a busy area with lots of ATC traffic. It makes it almost impossible to try and keep up with what was said since every time ATC or an AI aircraft speaks, it scrolls back up to somewhere in the middle of the communications window.

The thing that bugs me about these betas. Is they’ll fix 5 things, and break 5 others. Then they’ll let it carry over, and expect to think they are making progress:(

Not all answering options / choices are available. Present since SU 2 Beta.
Always have to scroll down to see latest communication. Problem there for me since MSFS 2024 Release.
Both annoiying and spoiling immersion.
Xbox Series X user here im having the same issue with the ATC window that everyone else is describing
In addition to all the problems with the ATC window, the text looks all washed out in my ATC window like in your screenshot. I can barely read it.
The screenshot Habu2u2 posted above is how the text should be displayed.
EDIT: In the accessibility options there is a setting for background opacity. Somehow it got set to zero causing the ATC window text to be washed out.
On my side if I try to use a mouse to press a choice 1 the panel’s button does not react quite often.
The ATC items to request clearances, request taxi and ground services are unselectable because the list of boxed items are unscrollable, and therefore some items remain unreachable and hidden from view.
The scrollbar in ATC is unusable.
ATC options are sometimes unclickable too.
Issue can be duplicated in SU2 beta release 1.4.12.0 on XBox Series X in the 737 Max. It also happened on previous releases of SU2 Beta.

Agreed, i cannot scroll to the ATC menu options at the bottom of the ATC window. Only 1 shows up.

Went back to using native ATC for a single flight and ran into this. Changing the window dimensions doesn’t help anything.
I was able to still execute the options via clicking the right “number” button that corresponds with what I want to say, but not being able to see all the options meant I was going off memory.
I cannot find any way to scroll to the Tune ATIS line
After cancelling Flight Tracking - the ATC window allows no other option other than Contact Approach, even when I am in terminal area.
Same for me and sometimes when you do click on a reply, the box just flashes but doesn’t actually process the command resulting in multiple clicks before it registers.
Same for me. In general, I think, interacting with components on the user interface with Xbox controller should be given some thought. Things like hairline thin scroll bars or unpredictable click spots create a bad user enperience. I think, where it is possible we should be able to use right stick to scroll a page or list, etc which is a natural behaviour for the controller.
