Due to the ongoing issue of ATC dropping mid-flight I changed from Azure to offline. I have the english pack so no issues there. I planned the flight in Simbrief, imported it into MSFS as I always do . I fly the PMDG 738 as I always do. Requested taxi after pushback using my normal call sign. Atc responds with that call sign consistently through takoff and climb out. After a while atc switched to a call sign that I have never used. I noticed this in the text thankfully and also my copilot responded with the changed call sign. I fly under Delta xxxx all the time and that is what atc started out using then suddenly changed to Delta yyyy. The nice thing was that atc stayed with me the whole flight without dropping out so that was a plus. Never has this occured with the call sign change.
Has any one had a call sign change mid flight like that? I dont recall seeing that issue posted before.
Any thoughts are more than welcome.
