Hi,
I prefer to listen to real ATC while flying, but I need ATIS. Is there a way to have MS2020 play ATIS and kill all other ATC? I use Justflight FSTraffic and have all vehicles set at zero.
Thanks

I do not believe there is a UI option to do that, but if you are feeling adventurous, you might considering editing the ATC Text/Voice text file, and maybe just remove the Voice entries of the ones you don’t want to hear.
Others have done similar editing mods to try to improve the Phraseology of the current ATC.
At the extreme, removing most of ATC Voice audio might be considered by some, to be the best current improvement to MSFS 2020 ATC ![]()
If you don’t tune in ATC you won’t hear them; you can still tune to ATIS frequencies if you like.
Duhhh - I need more sleep – OF Course. !!
I am so use to being lazy, and letting my Co-pilot talk to ATC, and insisting in tuning into to new ATC frequencies, that I forget — I could tell him/her to keep quiet, and keep their fingers of the Com Radio tuning !!
Advantage of being the Captain in the left seat !!
Both ATC & the Co-Pilot share the same incorrect Phraseology ![]()
Must have both gone to the same Asobo Aviation School classes.
Just treat everywhere as a CTAF.
Hi,
I have to tune in the com radio in order to hear FS-ATC that plays real canned ATC audio files. What’s nice, if I tune in ground, I hear ground, tune in tower you hear tower, center and so on.
Problem is, all the AI traffic audio plays as well. Would be nice if ATIS and ATC sound volume were separate.
You can turn off ATC voices in general options which will stop the AI atc. Then if you tune an MSFS ATIS frequency you will get the ATIS information as a text crawl across the bottom of the window. You might get the ATIS voice too…MSFS treats ATIS/ASOS/AWOS voices differently from ATC traffic, but I’ve not tested this myself.
