I searched around a bit before posting this and it seems to have been an issue since 2022. I assume this won’t be fixed.

Do you mean that you don’t tune to the ATIS frequency but just by tuning to the ATC for clearance ATIS starts ? Are you experiencing the issue at 1 airport in particular or at all airports ?
Could you review those similar reports and indicate if one is the same than your issue ?:
ATIS message still plays after changing frequency
ATIS randomly starts playing over and over?

Your audio panel has COM2 receive selected and it’s tuned to 124.85 which is the AWOS frequency for this airport. You need to disable COM2 receive or tune some other frequency.

It starts as soon as I contact ATC. It happens randomly. I haven’t been able to correlate with particular airports. I have been hearing the same recording on repeat as I fly from Leesburg, VA to Chicago. I have tried switching to different frequencies and it stays the same. I still get all my check ins. I just can’t hear them as they are all jumbled with the ATIS recording.
