ATR 42 / 72 hydraulic press. and some electricals go out after landing when engine IDLE

Hello friends,

I also have this problem when turning the power levers to GI. Crashed into a terminal as I lost hydraulics for the brakes…

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

YES

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

Since su13 if aircraft power stays in idle aircraft loses power and hyrdalics

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

exact same here since the update. hydraulics only come on if you have the throttles firewalled…

And to clarify this post, these “issues” happen when the NP% drops below 65. I do not know how this is supposed to behave in the real aircraft.

To be fair, NP supposed to be at ~70% at ground idle with condition lever in auto

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

After start NP stays 62 percent at idle power and condition lever auto. It is supposed to be 70 percent
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Please Asobo and Hans. If you can at least acknowledge de issue.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Yes. No AC Wild/Hydraulics when throttle is at Idle.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

Started with SU13 update of the ATR for me.

Theres the Tag “Feedback logged”, so you can assume it is acknowledged.

Oh, didnt know there was such a tag. Good to know they have acknowledged this.

I have the same issue as well.
Whenever the NP% is falling under 65.0 the hydraulics stops working. When in idle conditions the NP% is around 64.2 so therefore the hydraulics don’t work standing still and when landing.

Do Asobo ever plan to fix this issue? I used to enjoy flying the ATR but this bug has made in not enjoyable

Our team has been unable to reproduce this issues so far. AC and Hydraulic power is produced at idle. If you have further reproduction steps that may be able to help, feel free to post.

You mean in the testing build the testers have that probably fixed the following issue : Hydraulics while flying the ATR 42/72-600 ?

More seriously, if you fixed the other issue in the current testing build, chance are that this intermittent issue is also fixed

one thing I remember in pre SU13 is how NP would vary a little depending on the wind and the direction the aircraft is taxiing, which means that under more extreme winds chance are that NP could go low enough for AC wild generators go offline.

If they fixed the other issue by either putting a minimum NP when condition levers are at Auto or upping the torque slightly at ground idle, it could also fix this intermittent issue

At ground idle? What is the value of NP%? Doesn’t go below 65?

I have checked the situation again with a clean community foler. The same issue. Idle under 65 with no groundwind. If i increase the windspeed on the ground, idle is icreaseing, too. May be the devs has another version ??

I get this also. Assumed everyone did?

With the aircraft on the runway engines running, there will be low hydraulic pressure lights until I throttle up slightly. Then they extinguish with higher rpm. You get an audible “ding” as this happens.

Guys, the issue with no winds is there : Hydraulics while flying the ATR 42/72-600 - #2 by RookieOneqc

Haven’t had time to try it (at work), but could it be that the ‘team’ are using developer mode and this only happens when developer mode is turned off? Will try when I get home. Just a noob thinking out loud :grinning:

That’s my question too i mean is some thrust REQUIRED for the hydrolics aka (main brakes, nose wheel steering, ect) to work irl?
