ATR 72-600 EFOB Values Too Low When Using LBS

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: EFOB values shown at each waypoint are significantly less (less than half) actual values at those points.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Properly configure fuel and weights in an IFR flight in the ATR 72-600

  2. Observe fuel when crossing waypoints

  3. Compare to the EFOB shown for those waypoints on the FPLN page of the MCDU

YOUR SETTINGS

If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.

What peripherals are you using, if relevant:

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?

MEDIA

Here we see it’s estimating 1,427lbs when crossing MATET however just 3.5nm from the waypoint there is 3,330lbs of fuel onboard.

This may be an issue isolated to using LBS instead of KGS as this is what’s seen when switched to metric - LIDOS was just recently crossed and EFOB shows 1,352kgs compared to the 1,320kgs onboard a few minutes after passing.

The EWD also shouldn’t show the actual fuel onboard, the FOB and GW are coming directly from the FMS. The only place where you can find the actual fuel onboard is the ENG + FUEL SD page. In other words the EWD should match the FMS EFOB (whether that value is correct or not).

What is the fuel flow showing on the ENG + FUEL SD page?

This is reminding me of this bug that never even got tagged feedback-logged let alone bug-logged

I fear for all these ATR bugs that are pouring in. The track record for follow through speaks for itself.

Sorry, the flight just concluded, so unable to check - but the issue seems to only be present when using LBS so that may help point the developers in the right direction.
