ATR 72-600 Throttle Config

I am having trouble configuring the throttle, I find the detents are hard to find and only take up about 1/4 of the lever travel and the throttle movement is very twitchy.

I have also found that when binding the throttle axis which should be L-AXIS X and bound to MIXTURE AXIS, the only axes presenting are MIXTURE 0-100, and MIXTURE -100 to 100. I believe this may be the cause.

Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

First. You need to not be using the Mixture axis here at all.

Second. The whole throttle “thing” is quite buggy right now. The Tolerance settings aren’t being observed and therefore do nothing. That makes getting the detents to “snap-to” more difficult. Also the alignment of the virtual throttle levers doesn’t match where they actually need to be, so that is added further confusion.

Anyhow, start with the aforementioned(linked) control bindings and see if that helps!

Thanks for that info. Have tried binding TOGGLE FEATHER SWITCH to Button 8 or 9 which are in the beta section of Cond Lever and Mix Lever, but this just locks the sim. I guess you need to assign to a button somewhere. Anyway aircraft is pretty unflyable with the state of the throttle, any idea when this will get a fix?

Are you using a Honeycomb Bravo?
