ATR 72 terrain mode causes all screens to freeze

this issue still happen to me after AAU4, it freeze plane for like 30 sec - 1 min

Those of you with it freezing, what GPU are you using? Just a random thought it might be related to that. I donā€™t get the freezes using an AMD 9070XT.

Same issue in the new 2024 version. Freeze complete (not only for some seconds). 4080 Super

Hey folks,

Thanks to those of you who have confirmed you are still experiencing this issue since AAU4 launched late last week.

Iā€™ve made a note of this internally, and asked for it to be looked into further.

I can confirm this bug on both ATR 42-600 and ATR 72-600 after the AAU04 update (Sim Update 5). Executing the Terrain Test from the EFB causes all cockpit screens to freeze completely. The freeze lasts more than 3 minutes and the simulator becomes fully unresponsive during that time. This happens 100% of the time.

System: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D | AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT 12GB | 32GB RAM | Microsoft Store | MSFS 2024 SU5 + AAU04.

Ok, Iā€™ve now experienced this freeze (although it did recover after about a minute) while flying KPSP to KSAN. Maybe itā€™s just a coincidence, but every other flight Iā€™ve done where itā€™s been fine was in the UK.
