Is there a way to fill in the approach runway into the ATR MCDU even for runways with no approach procedures? I can’t get approach speed without it and there seems to be no way to select it.

From the FMS, click the perf button until you see the approach page. You should be able to activate approach speeds from there as you get close. (Ensure to enter correct QNH and wind to get an accurate Vapp speed)
