I cannot start the engines after the update in MSFS 2024, no matter what. I tried different aircraft models, with and without Hotel Mode, all different start modes, from Crank to Start A&B… and nothing. The engine starts rotating, wait for 10-15%NH, Condition lever is advanced, fuel flow is about 165, but it stays there, topping on 17% with no engine start. I even disconnected the hardware to use only manual control of the condition lever (this used to be a bug in the old version), but nothing solves it. I did this procedure many times in the 2020 add-on, even in MSFS 2024, but I can’t make it work after the update. ![]()
Ok, I figured it out… the covers were not removed. Although this was my bad, I’d still leave a suggestion for the development team: put a red square around the Covers button in the EFB screen to indicate if the covers are present or not, just like all the other buttons in this screen (Ext Power Unit, Doors, chokes, etc). This way, it would be clear if we still have something to remove, without having to go outside to look. It would be a reminder too.
