Brief description of the issue:

Whether the engines (or Hotel Mode) works is completely down to luck… More often than not, the engines do not start when using the cold and dark procedure.

If you then try and select the ready to taxi option, the outer screens go blank (no electrical power apart from battery) regardless of whether external power is connected and selected in the OH.

I am extremely angry that this product was released in such a poor state. This is a beta and not a product good enough for release. I am deeply worried that this product will not be fixed just as the CRJ was never fully sorted out (same developer).

Do you mind showing the process you’re following? I’ve been using the ATR (both variants) since release and have never had issues starting the engines, and I also use hotel mode almost every flight. I’m wondering if there may be something funky going on with your controller mappings.

No. Hotel mode and cold start work every time.

I’ve had that too (right engine button wouldn’t go blue / ON, although GPU was connected and enginer starter switch was set to B), and while I tried to fix it (i.e. starting the right engine), the whole airplane including EFB froze. Buttons moved, but nothing was happening.

Given that this is broken for some but working fine for most, it is probably either pilot error or a configuration issue.

Same problem: from cold and dark sometimes the engine doesn’t start (hotel mode or normal mode with gpu).
Using always the same checklist, sometimes works and sometimes not, also other friends had the same issue.

Someone have a reliable checklist?
